Registration requirement tips for the AMPP CAS Full Status (Level 2). (Full Status Renewal Paperwork please click on the Forms for Option Number 3 Near the Bottom of this page)
Document Checklist;
The AMPP document says the AMPP must receive the application, documents, and pictures at least two weeks in advance – but the training center must submit it at least 4 weeks in advance to the International. Please send all required documents completed to the registering training center ASAP but no later than 4 weeks prior to the course date.

Applicant Information;
Fill in the applicant’s information and address. Include the requested information about the current employer.

Professional References;
All three are required, with phone and email contact information. At least one must be a supervisor who can attest to work performed, hours submitted, and the ethics of the applicant.

Prerequisite Information;
Most will select process B that requires a total of 6,000 work hours or more.
If process A is chosen, you must submit proof of 450 hours of AMPP accepted formal training.

Work Experience;
Please read the directions carefully.
They are looking for the company information in address, work phone, and cell phone of company contact.
In “Responsibilities” they are requesting specific job duties performed by the applicant. Stating Blast & Spray is not adequate. A good example is the following;
“Duties include surface preparation ranging from solvent wiping to white metal blasting. Coating applications include brush and roll to spray application including conventional, airless, airless air assisted, and plural component.”
Think of it as;
How you prepped a particular substrate?
What kind of products have you applied? (Enamels, elastomeric, others)
How did you apply it?
All areas must be completed including dates of employment.
The approximate work hours should be as accurate as you can reasonably give. It is critical that this number match the number given on the separate task sheet/job description page that must be filled out separately in addition to the application. If you list more than one employer to get the minimum work hours of 6,000, we must have a separate task sheet for each additional contractor listed and they must match the hours listed as worked for each individual contractor.
If the 6,000 work hours can be reached listing one contractor, it is suggested that you only list one as you will need a separate task form for each that is listed.
The other items that are needed are the SSPC information form for the roster requirements and a selfie for the completed badge. The picture is best if it is taken about an arm’s length away and without zooming in on most phone cameras. Please submit it with the Application and the task form to the email below. The roster form is an online submission.
